Machine Embroidery Has Been My Life's Work
My name is Iryna, and machine embroidery has been an important part of my life for many years. I began my career in Ukraine as an embroidery machine operator — working directly with the machines taught me far more than software alone ever could.
As my experience grew, I specialized in embroidery digitizing. Every design went through real test-outs on embroidery machines, refining stitch density, compensation, underlay, and stabilization until it ran cleanly in production. For me, digitizing isn't just about a beautiful design on screen — a professional file has to stitch cleanly and perform reliably in real production.
Before moving to Poland in 2022, I digitized for a company specializing in garment branding — designs for hospitals, sports clubs, workwear, towels, uniforms, and corporate clothing. One of my favorite projects was traditional Ukrainian embroidery: large ornamental patterns for dresses, stitched from the neckline almost to the hem. Embroidery is part of Ukrainian cultural heritage, and that work has always felt like both a professional responsibility and a personal source of inspiration.
After relocating to Poland, I spent my first year working in embroidery production — learning the language, the local expectations, and Polish production standards from the inside. Since 2023, I've continued working as a professional embroidery digitizer in Poland.
